The tracks on ‘Deep Space Blue’ were recorded, mixed & mastered by Jim Ottaway between May 2014 & June 2017.

Equipment & software used for this production includes: RME Fireface 800, Studio One, Korg Karma, acoustic guitar, & various VSTs including Omnisphere, SynthMaster, Spire, Alchemy, Ethera, Massive, Goliath, Evolve Mutations, Morphology, Scoring Guitars, Symphonic Choirs & Reaktor.

Panspermia... the hypothesis that life exists throughout the universe, distributed by meteoroids, asteroids, comets, planetoids, and also by spacecraft in the form of unintended contamination by microorganisms.

TRAPPIST-1 (2MASS J23062928-05022851) is an ultra-cool dwarf star that is slightly larger but much more massive than the planet Jupiter, located 39.5 light-years from the Sun in the Constellation Aquarius.

'Deep Space Blue' was awarded the Best Ambient Album award at the 14th annual Zone Music Reporter Awards (2017) in New Orleans on 12 May 2018. It was also nominated for Album of the Year.

'Deep Space Blue' debuted at #27 on the Zone Music Reporter Top 100 chart for July 2017 and rose to #13 in August 2017 and again to #9 in September 2017. It dropped to #13 on the October chart; to #19 on the November chart; to #20 on the December chart; to #25 on the January 2018 chart; to #29 on the February 2018 chart; to #36 on the March 2018 chart; and to #42 on the April 2018 chart.

'Deep Space Blue' debuted at #8 on the One World Music Radio Top 100 chart for September 2017 and rose to #3 on the October chart. It dropped to #16 on the November chart; to #37 on the December chart; and to #78 on the combined January/February 2018 chart.

In late September 2017 'Deep Space Blue' was awarded a Silver Medal at the 2017 Global Music Awards in the USA.

'Deep Space Blue' was featured as the Album of the Week (Album der Woche) on Germany's Modul303 internet radio station during 20 - 26 August 2017 (Week 34) and was the featured album on New Zealand's Sleep Radio during the week 14 - 20 September 2017.
